Obtain Your Cuesta Student ID Card

Your student ID is the official student identification card for Cuesta College students. It can be used on campus and at local businesses when student ID is required.

Revenue collected from the ASCC Student ID Card is used to maintain and strengthen existing programs and to establish new ones that will enhance the students’ academic and social experience at Cuesta College.

Currently registered students can purchase a Cuesta College ID online via their MyCuesta portal:

1. Login to your myCuesta Portal
2. Locate the 'Registration' tile 
3. Click Register for Classes
4. Select the correct term from the drop-down link and click continue
5. Click Optional Fees tab
6. Click Add Fee on the Student ID Card
7. Click Proceed to Payment or Pay Now
8. Select the correct term from the drop-down link and click Pay Now
9. If you are receiving the Cuesta Promise, do not continue. The Promise will cover the fee now that it has been added to your account.  
10. If you are not receiving the Cuesta Promise, click Pay Now and enter your card information to pay the fee. 

Students who prefer to print their ID cards while on campus can visit the SLO Campus or North County Campus.

How much do student ID cards cost?

An ID card can be purchased/renewed for $10 for each semester (spring and fall) or $5 for summer. 

Note: For lost or stolen cards, there is a $2 replacement fee. 

Digital Student IDs 

Students who buy ID cards will receive an email inviting them to download our digital ID card (see "Digital student IDs" section).

Students who purchase IDs through the MyCuesta portal will receive an email to their @MyCuesta address, inviting them to create their digital Cuesta College student ID card. 

Instructions on how to download the app to create your digital ID card will be included in the email invitation. 

Digital ID cards will be the default ID card for students, though physical IDs will be available to students upon request. See the "Pick up your ID card in person" section below for more details.
